A House for the insects...
Home
Our bugs had no home
For them, nowhere was snug
So, we rolled up our sleeves
Found an old piece of rug,
Collected boards, nails and leaves,
Picked up branches and boughs
And built a nice little house,
With a first and a second wooden floor.
“Respect the insects”, we wrote on the door.
Ladybird,
Have you heard?
Bee,
Can you see?
There’s a hotel on the tree!
Mosquito,
Have a go!
This is a nice place to grow!
Butterfly,
Dragonfly,
Let’s sleep and eat in the sky!
We are so proud
We now have a crowd
Of many insects that dwell
In our beautiful hotel!
