An Erasmus+ plaque for Collège Calmette et Guérin
On Saturday April 30th, an Erasmus+ plaque that was sent to us by our National Agency, l'Agence Erasmus+ France, was unveiled at Collège Calmette et Guérin in Ecueillé to show the participation and the involvement of the students and their teachers in our Erasmus+ project Home Sweet Home. M. Templeur, our headmaster made a speech about European school partnerships and the story of our project. Our little ambassadors to England, Turkey and Greece spoke about the wonderful experience they had with their partners abroad. Mme Bruneau, a Member of Parliament, insisted on the importance of European links today and M.Nicaud, a Regional Councillor, agreed with her. The Mayor of Ecueillé, M. Aufrère, the Mayor of Faverolles, M.Guimpier and the President of the "Communauté de Communes Ecueillé-Valençay", M.Doucet, were there too as well as parents and other people from the community.
We also had an article in the local newspaper, La Nouvelle République, this morning.
