The castles of the Loire Valley.

Publié par SDenizou  - Catégories :  #collegecalmetteetguerin

As the second activity for Part 2 : Houses of The Past, Year 8 (5ème) students at Collège Calmette et Guérin, visited the old city of Loches, and more precisely the castle, with Mr Marville, their History and Geography teacher.

They listened to his explanations and took many photos.

Once back to school, they prepared their presentation with their English teacher. Kamala recorded the commentary that you can hear on the video. And they also worked on other famous castles or châteaux of the Loire Valley : Chambord, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Blois and Amboise.

Indeed, these castles of the Loire Valley are the treasures of our region and altogether with the old houses that can be found nearby, they are good examples of homes of the past.
