Part 2 : Visit to Turkey.

From October 4th till October 10th, 5 ambassadors from England, 9 from Greece and 8 from France, were welcomed with their teachers at Yusufça School in Kandira, Turkey.

They all stayed at Beyoğlu Belediyesi Kefken Çevre Yaz Kampı

They shared activities at the Turkish school KOCAELİ - KANDIRA - Yusufça Şehit İrfan Yaman İlkokulu

They visited wonderful places like Kandira,

beautiful mansions in Izmit like the Hunt House and other very interesting houses of past times http://www.kultur.gov.tr/EN,31421/kocaeli--izmit-museum-and-ataturk-house.html

They also went to Kefken and Kerpe on the Black Sea shore,

Karaaslan Alabalık & Kamping Tesisleri South of Izmit in the mountains

Finally, they spent a day in Istanbul, visiting Hagia Sophia Museum |

going on a boat trip on the Bosphorus

and enjoying some time in the shopping streets of Istanbul.

Students and teachers really enjoyed this Erasmus+ Home Sweet Home visit and learnt so many things thanks to it. They are all very grateful to the Turkish teachers, Mr Sadik Sedat Tezcan, Mr Burak Dormus and Mr Mehmet Günkaya, and to Yusufça Okulu Headmaster, Mr Adil Er, for the wonderful organisation of this visit!
