Many Year 9 students have taken advantage of their visit of George Sand's house in Nohant (Indre) on February 23rd to create a brochure about this place which is visited every year by thousands of visitors. They also worked with Mrs Lanfant, their French teacher, on George Sand and discovered more precisely the letters the famous writer had sent to her friends and relatives.

However, other students have chosen the castle of Valençay, the house of Talleyrand, one of the Ministers of Napoleon 1st, which is situated in Valençay(36), also in Berry and which is one of the pearls of our region !

Other students chose to work on Clos Lucé, the house where Leonardo Da Vinci ended his life, next to Amboise(Indre-et-Loire) right in the middle of the Loire Valley.

Year 8 students visited the city of Bourges(Cher) on March 18th with their history teacher, Mr Marville, and after visiting the house of Jacques Coeur, they decided they could create brochures about the house of this famous French merchant who was born in Bourges around 1400 and died in 1456 on Chios island in Greece.

They all completed their work by doing some research about these famous people so that they could hand their brochures to Mrs Denizou in order to take part in the competition in Greece!
